Church and other stuff
So church was very different then what I m used to. We actually broke the bread for communion and stood for the whole thing. Before that we had morning tea with the church. We went for a nice drive yesterday and saw more of the countryside which was really nice, then we had afternoon tea at a Canadians house (homemade oreos :) ) Right now Im sitting in an internet cafè in Bowral prounouced Barrel. I find that everyone wears different kind of clothes.... like some guys are still wearing short shorts :P, and the womens clothing seems so outdated..... I mean I would have to really look for clothes that I would like to buy. I bought "washing powder" though and some chocolate milk for teatime haha. I usually like drinking coffee and tea at home but since its so warm here I don't feel like it at all. There are 29 students this semester. Two from Australia, One from New Zealand , I think Four from the States, a family from Australia and pretty much the rest from Canada :).

Capernwray Australia!
So I will give you a rundown of my day.... This morning we "hailed" a taxi to the train station and met up with Amanda and Taylor. I am so thankful for "lifts" or we would have had to drag our luggage up stairs :P. We got safely to Campbelltown with a little help from our guardian angel (overweight man, little bit smelly) he made sure we knew where to get off and which train to transfer onto :). Amanda didn't "mind the gap" and her suitcase fell through so he helped us there too. We ended up meeting up with more Capernwray students at Moss Vale and the school sent a bus to pick us up :). I'm all unpacked and now live in a horse stable turned girls dormitory haha. The property originally belonged to a very rich couple in the 1930s and since became Capernwray in 1969. The gym is my favorite part, a shed with metal sheet walls. Its a beautiful property and all the animals here will end up being eaten by us.... no naming animals for me I guess :(. The tour of the property was interesting. So there is a majority of Canadians. Two other girls from Alberta and they are both as tall or taller than me which I think is great! Church tomorrow, that should be nice.... until then

Touring and more friends
I met up with Amanda and Taylor, two girls from Canada, and we went to Darling Harbour... absolutely beautiful but I forgot my camera :(. It's so easy to make new friends and so much fun! There were these rugs in darling harbour in the grass that people lay on, it made me think of something dogs would curl up on. We walked the whole harbour, there were water fountains, a playground, maritime museum and a ship on the water. It was a nice change from China Town and we found a food court with more normal fast food. The Chinese gardens were nice but we didn't pay to go inside so just saw the fish and some statues. There were people feeding the seagulls, a dance crew cleaning up, and a little baby running around naked. Quite the scenery... and i NEED to go to bed but its only 5:30pm here :(
Surprises... good ones :)
So I waited for an hour and a half for my new friend Jamie to get through customs and meet up with me at the airport. I was worried I had missed her but Jeff found her for me haha. Jamie is super nice and we had a few good laughs in Chinatown where we had lunch. A chinese woman started talking to Jamie (who is Korean) and she said "sorry, I don't understand your language!" lol. Best chinese food I've had in a long time! We're probably going to do some more sightseeing and try and find a place other than china town.... :)
I bought some postcards, just need to write on them and get some stamps!

Waiting....
The flight to San Francisco went well I was seated next to a nice older lady headed to Palm Springs. It was a really small plane and everyone was squished together, 17 rows and I was in row 15. I got a great view of the San Francisco bridge as we flew in though and the ride was fast and not too much turbulence. Lots of time to kill now, 5 hours until our plane boards...
